Its Official....its all over now!

So today I became the parent of a teenager. We've been experiencing the moodiness for a few months now, but it will be interesting to see what will happen next. I have been trying to take a calm instructor stance with her. She is not me, she is never going to be me (in a good way) and I will strive daily to no make her feel inferior to her ever impressive, perfectionist mother. No hair issues for the most part. My sister took her to have it braided and it has been great. We were getting concerned with her putting heat in her hair everyday. She's only lost 4 braids total. Not bad, since she has such soft hair. When dealing with the younger sibling, I try to warn her to avoid conflict to begin with. She had still have the upper hand, but be creative with how she does it. Its going to be a long summer!
